EDAG's 25th anniversary in Hungary provided an excellent occasion for the first Professional Day in Győr. The main objective of the event - apart from celebrating together - was to present EDAG's achievements and competences to our existing and future partners.

In addition to representatives of the company's various divisions, the conference programme was enriched by speakers from the research institute of the Hungarian Ministry of Defence and from the local Széchenyi István University. 

Special thanks go to Dr. Stefan Caba, Daniel Aha, Tobias Reger and Arun Chavan for their high-quality and exciting presentations and also to Gulmira Shamirzaeva for her support in the professional preparation of the event.

Digitalisation, sustainability, defence innovations, software development, AI, smart manufacturing solutions - just some of the topics where EDAG experts can help businesses and where forward-looking discussions started after the presentations.

The decision to establish EDAG in Győr, which dates back to 1999, was driven by the proximity of Audi and Opel to three capital cities - Bratislava, Vienna and Budapest - and the availability of excellent Hungarian engineering skills and workforce.

We have come a long way and can be proud of our achievements so far. We started as a one-man company and today, with 250 employees, 6 departments and 2 offices, we are EDAG's second-largest European subsidiary outside Germany.
