EDAG Hungary is proud to commemorate its 25th anniversary this year, a milestone that prompts us to reflect on our journey.

Our inception in 1999 in Győr was strategically motivated by the prior establishment of Audi and Opel in the area, the advantageous proximity to Bratislava, Vienna, and Budapest, and the exceptional Hungarian engineering talent and workforce available.

Pioneering this venture, our Body Engineering (BE) and Production Solutions (PS) engineers were among the first to undertake training in Germany. This foundational step enabled our colleagues in Final Element Simulation (CAE) and Administration to establish our initial presence at the Carant Antenna office.

Over the years, our team has expanded significantly, prompting a move to Körkemence Street and subsequently to the Leier office building. Here, we welcomed our inaugural colleagues in Electrical/Electronics (EE) and Process and Data Management (PDPM). Time flew as our company evolved with incoming projects and new customer requirements, which energized our Surface team, culminating in the establishment of our Budapest office in 2019.

Looking back, we have transformed from a solo venture into EDAG's second-largest European subsidiary (outside of Germany), boasting 250 dedicated employees, 6 specialized departments, and 2 offices.

As we celebrate this landmark year in 2024, our focus is not only on the company's accomplishments but also on our employees. They are the cornerstone of our success in Europe, embodying the essence of EDAG Hungary as it is known in Germany.
