There are some cycling enthusiasts among us; one of them is our managing director László. He is such a cycling enthusiast that at the beginning of June he took first place in his starting category at the road cycling marathon championship with a distance of about 200 kilometers around Lake Balaton. After 4:46:04 László crossed the finish line in eleventh place and even became Hungarian national champion in his age category.

In our company, László is not the only one who cycles competitively. Numerous other colleagues also cycle around Lake Balaton at - admittedly - somewhat slower speeds; for example, as a team in this year's Ultrabalton (link to https://hu.edag.com/de/news/ultrabalaton-2023).

In our day-to-day work, the focus of vehicle development is on cars, but we also design components for trucks, engines, and occasionally airplanes, boats, and even bicycles. For the daily commute to the office, however, many of our colleagues get on their bikes - even though our offices in Győr and Budapest are easily accessible by public transport.
