The first weekend in May brought 20 degrees, sunshine and wind-free conditions. We couldn't have hoped for better conditions for the first Ultrabalaton event of the year, in which 20 of our employees participated - seven of them riding their bikes, and the others in the relay around the 211 km track.

The focus was not so much on the race itself as on physical activity and team building. After a total of 18 hours and 49 minutes, we crossed the finishing line – beating our previous record in the Ultrabalaton. "It was tiring, but we very quickly moved from 'Never again' to 'We'll definitely be back again next year'" sums up Zsolt Kertész, main organizer of the cycling team, with a smile.

"The EDAG Group has taken part in the Ultrabalaton every year since 2015 – one year, the team was even supplemented by colleagues from the parent company in Germany," recalls Tamás Homlok, "captain" of our 13-strong running team.
